Manchester United line up shock transfer of Chelsea’s Willian

Man Utd set to raid Chelsea for £40m Mourinho favourite in January
Manchester United are reportedly ready to make a surprise move to sign Chelsea winger Willian in the January transfer window.
The Brazil international has not featured for the Blues of late, having been allowed time off by manager Antonio Conte after the death of his mother in October.

Willian was voted Chelsea’s player of the season last year after some outstanding form, and his old manager Jose Mourinho seemingly remains a big fan of his.
With Pedro now looking more and more like a safe starter for Chelsea on the right-hand side of their attack, Willian could struggle to win back his place any time soon.
Despite a slow start to life in London, the Spaniard was described this week by Conte as being the ‘perfect’ player for his 3-4-3 formation.
According to the Daily Star, this has alerted United as they weigh up a move for the 28-year-old this winter.
It is thought that Willian would cost around £40million, which is not a lot more than United paid Chelsea for Juan Mata back in the January transfer window of 2014.
