Man gets wedding ring stuck on his penis

Next time you think about finding out whether your wedding ring fits on your penis, try to resist the urge.
A guy from South Africa thought he would have some harmless fun – but ended up in excruciating pain and needing surgery.

And we imagine he had a hard time explaining it to his wife, too.
The 28-year-old placed the ring on his member for ‘erotic reasons on the recommendation of his friends’, as noted in the South African Medical Journal (SAMJ), two weeks after his wife had given birth.

They were unable to remove it due to ‘excessive swelling’ and the ring being ‘too wide and strong’.
However, the third time was the charm as injections drained blood and caused the swelling to subside, enabling doctors to slip the ring off.
The man made a full recovery.

’ and his strangled equipment had become swollen and turned blue.
He went to Van Velden Hospital in Limpopo where surgeons took photographs of the damage before removing the ring.
The report in the SAMJ read: ‘The penis was erect and blue and the patient was in severe pain.’
Surgeons twice failed in attempts to remove the ring once the patient was sedated, with one attempt made by an orthopaedic oscillating saw.
