Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic vows to do better after lacking Liverpool display

Man Utd star Ibrahimovic admits he should have done better in Liverpool clash

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted he should have done better for his side in their Monday night clash against Liverpool in the Premier League.
The Red Devils became the first side to take points off Liverpool at Anfield this season, but registered just one shot on target for the entire game as they adapted a defensive approach.

Ibrahimovic missed a glorious chance to snatch a victory for his United when he was played in by an inch-perfect cross from Paul Pogba.
However, the Swede got his header all wrong as the chance went begging and Ibrahimovic has vowed to do better.
‘It was difficult,’ Ibrahimovic told reporters after the game.

‘I was chasing the ball rather than attacking it. But I should at least have gotten it on target.
‘Then again, I was there in the right position and that is the important thing. Next time I will do better.
‘It was a good game and a difficult game at the same time, away against Liverpool, who have been beating the big teams. I think it was a good result.’
United were without strikers Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial as the captain started the game on the bench and the Frenchman omitted from the squad.
The point leaves United in seventh and five points off the joint leaders Manchester City and Arsenal.
