Mother and boyfriend charged with injecting three children with heroin

A mother of three and her boyfriend have been charged with injecting her young children with heroin.
The children told Child Protection Services (CPS) they were given ‘sleeping juice’ and ‘feel good medicine’ that was injected with a needle.
Ashlee Hutt, 24, and Leeroy McIver, 25, are accused of drugging the children, aged six, four and two, at their home in Spanaway, Washington.
The oldest child told investigators that ‘feel good medicine’, which he described as a ‘white powder mixed with water’, was injected into him and his sisters, Kiro 7 reported.

They would fall asleep after being given the substance, he said.

During an investigation that lasted between May and November last year, rat droppings and dirty needles were found at the squalid house.
