‘Cannibal killer’ accused of eating body parts of police officer he met online

Breaking Bad fanatic 'may have eaten parts of police officer he murdered'

A man accused of murdering a serving PC and dissolving his body in a bath of acid may have eaten parts of his body, a court heard.
Stefano Brizzi, 50, allegedly met police officer Gordon Semple, 59, on gay dating site Grindr and invited him back to his flat for ‘sleazy, dirty sex’ in April this year.
But sadomasochist Brizzi allegedly strangled the older man and sought to dispose of his body in a ‘variety of ways’.
DNA from the alleged victim was found on the blade of a blender, cooking pot, chopsticks, chopping board and grease in the oven of the Italian’s kitchen, the Old Bailey heard today.
Investigators also found bite marks on a piece of bone in the kitchen bin and evidence that one of Mr Semple’s legs had been burned, the jury was told.
They claimed Brizzi could have grated his victim’s flesh before eating it.

PC Semple was on duty when he arranged to meet Brizzi, via Grindr, for ‘hot, dirty, sleazy’ sex on the afternoon of April 1.

Following the alleged murder, neighbours on the Peabody Estate in south London noticed a ‘revolting smell’ coming from Brizzi’s flat.
A week later, a neighbour described Brizzi as being ‘cool as a cucumber’ when he told him police had been called ‘because of the stench’, the court heard.
