Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas has taken to Instagram to show fans he is getting back to full fitness.
The Spaniard was left out as the Blues lost to West Ham in the EFL
Cup in mid-week, with manager Antonio Conte explaining that he was still
out with a thigh injury.
The midfielder also missed Premier League matches against Leicester
City and Manchester United with the problem, but now appears to be
nearing full fitness again.
Fabregas has been out of favour under new boss Conte, only starting
once in the top-flight under the Italian, and this personal training
session may have been an effort to impress the coach.
With the likes of N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic being preferred to
the 29-year-old in the middle of the park with Conte’s 3-4-3 system, he
may still have some persuading to do to force his way back in to the
team.
Chelsea have won their last three league matches against Hull City,
Leicester, and Man Utd with a combined 9-0 scoreline, which will make it
more difficult for Fabregas to push his way back in to the starting XI.
