Liverpool star Adam Lallana suggests he is all good ahead of Southampton clash after injury in England game

Adam Lallana gives injury update leaving Wembley ahead of Southampton clash

Adam Lallana has allayed fears he has suffered a serious injury against Spain after the Liverpool midfielder was forced off during their 2-2 draw at Wembley.
The 28-year-old opened the scoring for England from the penalty spot, but then hobbled off the pitch after less than 20 minutes into the game when he failed to shake off a knock from a tackle.

Lallana, however, gave the thumbs up to journalists in the mix zone after the game, suggesting he is in the race to face Southampton at the weekend.
Liverpool take on Southampton at St Mary’s this Saturday looking to maintain their position at the top of the table with Lallana a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Reports from Wembley are that Lallana will undergo scans at Melwood tomorrow, but clearly the England international is not too worried about his injury.

Goals from Lallana and Jamie Vardy were cancelled out by late strikes from Iago Aspas and Isco as Spain snatched a draw in the 96th minute.
