Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan plays part in dramatic Armenia comeback to send message to Jose Mourinho

Mkhitaryan sends message to Mourinho by helping Armenia end 3-YEAR victory drought

Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan has sent a message to manager Jose Mourinho by making it through a full 90 minutes for Armenia.
The 27-year-old was involved as his national team came back from 2-0 down against Montenegro to grab a 3-2 victory in their World Cup qualifier on Friday.

An incredible last minute strike from Gevorg Ghazaryan completed the turnaround, giving Armenia their first win since a 2-1 victory against Bulgaria in October 2013.
Although the midfielder appeared rusty in the first half, understandably after being largely ignored by his coach at Old Trafford, he grew in to the match in the dramatic second 45 minutes – proving his fitness to the Portuguese.

A dangerous free kick, a surging run past two opposition players, and a late attempt to score a winner showed fans what the former Borussia Dortmund man could offer if Mourinho gives him a chance for his club.
Mkhitaryan has been limited to just five appearances since joining the Red Devils in the summer, despite United finding it difficult to show their best form.
Mourinho recently insinuated that the player needs time to get used to English football, but may want to give him a chance in their next match, against Arsenal, after the Armenian’s solid performance against Montenegro.
