A woman who spent £18,000 on making herself ‘pretty’ like Kim Kardashian is now moaning that being compared to the star is ‘ruining her life’.

After getting a boob job and wearing bum-enhancing pads for photo shoots, Claire started to do her make-up like the Kardashian sister too, and soon landed gigs as a Kim lookalike.

But nearly a decade on, part-time receptionist Claire claims that she no longer likes being compared to the star, writing on Instagram that Kim is ‘destroying her life’.

Talking to MailOnline, she said: ‘I’m sick and tired of being compared to Kim Kardashian, I am my own person.
‘I always had a resemblance to Kim and I thought I could capitalise on that by copying her look, but it’s backfired and now I hate looking like her.’

Asked why she ever started copying Kim’s style, Claire added: ‘I didn’t believe I was anything that great.
‘So I thought if I can look like her, that will make me pretty.’
Claire blames the majority of her misery on trolls who comment on her online photos — either saying she’s trying too hard to be Kim, or that she doesn’t look like her at all.

‘It’s ruining my life, I’m just being ridiculed,’ she went on. ‘People don’t understand that it’s not a compliment for me to be compared to Kim, it really upsets me.
