Manchester United are ‘crying out’ for a midfielder like N’Golo Kante, says Jamie Redknapp

Mourinho told missing out on Chelsea star N'Golo Kante was a massive mistake

Jamie Redknapp believes Jose Mourinho made a mistake by not signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante in the summer.
The Frenchman joined Antonio Conte’s side in a £30million deal from Leicester City after winning the league title with the Foxes.
The 25-year-old took time to find his feet at Stamford Bridge but he’s emerged as one of the Blues’ most important players during a four-game winning run.

Kante revealed at the start of the season that he spoke with Mourinho about a move to Old Trafford before opting for west London and Redknapp believes the 53-year-old made a mistake in missing out on the midfielder.

‘You see the legs and the athleticism he’s got, he’s a great signing,’ Redknapp told Sky Sports.
‘There will be so many clubs thinking “why didn’t we sign him”. You look at Manchester United’s midfield crying out for someone like him.
‘He presses, he can pass, he’s just flying at the moment,’
